Our Apps

Making the complex ... simple

Under Development

While basically every app that we have is in some way or another being worked on and improved, we do have some code still in early stage development. The first, which we will not link to, is written utilizing C# and is software to improve the safety of autonomously driven vehicles. The second is a niche market dating app (PHP/JavaScript/MySQL) which while currently functional still needs a number of items (such as adding Angular to give a better front end experience than the current handwritten HTML/CSS). You can see the current state of this one by clicking here.

New Business Launch

We have further launched an entirely new business in the autonomous vehicle market. The company, Spider V2X is all about providing a solution for creating a mesh network within autonomous vehicles to allow for vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure communications. eCommerce

Written originally to solve a problem the founder of ShrinkLV was having (an inability to have one-click upsells immediately following a purchase) using the major platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and SamCart. However it wasn’t long before others started wanting the same thing and the software (written in pure, no frameworks, PHP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS with a MySQL backend and utilizing the Stripe API for credit card processing) has since been undergoing a “templating” process to allow it to be easily installed and configured for multiple other sites. It is currently being used (sites are currently very new and products still being loaded) by Jeriwana.com (a sort of online “head shop”) and Want1Got1.com (an online musical instrument store focusing on the professional musician). You can see the store in production by Clicking Here (links to the ShrinkLV eCommerce store which currently does over $200,000 in revenue per month).

Book Inventory

This app was originally created for colleges and universities but is now provided to anyone that may want to maintain a book inventory. The app allows someone to use their phone or iPad to scan a book ISBN bar code. It will then utilize the Google Books API to find the book and populate some information about it as well as asking for how many of the books are in inventory. Should the book not be found by the Google Books API then the app will ask for the information to be manually entered. Click Here to check out this app.

Home Service

The founder of DEW Development is friends with a few different home contractors. The app was created as a way for his friends to have an app that is useful (helping someone manage the numerous tasks involved in home maintenance so that something does not get forgotten) to their client base while also giving their client base an easy mechanism to contact them. Because multiple contractors now are giving this out to their clients we believe it is possible that our Home Service app is the number one app of its kind. Click Here to check out this app.

Master Tasker

This app was created for a friend utilizing the jQuery Mobile framework for both his business and for a personal use. It is very slightly more complex than our other apps however our modular design approach and willingness to reuse code (much of which came from the Home Service app) means that this app was created in only 5 days. The app allows for a simple hierarchy in which a superior gives tasks to a subordinate and start and completion times are maintained along with notes and even an optional to use “reward point” system. Finally, the app is quite flexible and allows for someone to have multiple superiors and/or multiple subordinates; including for two people to be both each other’s superior and subordinate (a person might be a lead on one project and not on another).
